Many people choose to drink Aloe Vera juice or tablets for its health benefits. Aloe contains C, E, and B vitamins, plus minerals such as zinc, manganese, iron and calcium. Aloe Vera also has wonderful anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
Aloe is taken for constipation because it promotes softer stools. The cleansing, detoxifying and anti-bacterial properties of the herb aids in making it work as a laxative.
